About

I am simply a father, a software engineer, and a musician.

My musical experiences started in early childhood. I was a self-taught guitar/keyboard player. I was involved in all of the elementary/high school bands for percussion and guitar. I took music theory in HS and began my college career as a Composition major. I ‘get’ theory, I love music, and I love being able to communicate to any musician in universal terms. I’m currently working on my solo album (as I have tons of material that needs to get out of my computer and into MP3-players everywhere). I’m also nearly ready to release my first CD/album with Mindwarp Chamber, my progressive metal band.

My development experiences began much later. Towards the middle/end of my music pursuits in school, I decided that I definitely did not want to be a starving musician. I’m a geek. I love Math, Physics, Biology… basically, all of the sciences (I like to read, but learning about literature-proper bores me to tears). I switched to Computer Science, and quickly realized that CS was a pseudo-engineering discipline that is still on its way to becoming a fully fledged engineering field of its own. I like being a part of this community while it is still in flux.

Being a father, is the most recent development in my life. I have two daughters. Breanne, and Lily. They are an intrinsic part of me.

I have endless opinions about music, software, and parenting. Yet, I believe my time has passed to write some fantastic journal expounding upon my ideas or theories. Albums/recording, blog posts, great software (in the form of sites such as creativecrash.com and groupon.com), and children who go forth and become positive socio-economic forces in life will the products by which my life is measured.
